Invitation to D-Axis Summit 2010
(THIS PROGRAM IS
CANCELED)

Dear friends

We as a partner to the D-Axis Summit 2010, bring to your kind notice that a conference of Indian NGOs is being organized at Siri Fort auditorium in Delhi on September 16, 2010. It is expected that around 2000 NGOs will participate  from  different  parts  of  the country.  The  Registration  Fee  is Rs 999/- per organization. Only some background material and lunch will be provided by the organizers to the registered participants. Please try to participate in this great event.

D-Axis or Development Axis is a step forward for the development sector comprising of NGOs, Civic Society, Corporate run CSRs, Donor agencies and Government agencies to look at Social Enterprise model and move away from the old charity model which will bring in EMPLOYMENT, ECONOMIC REFORM AND SOCIAL COHESION in the rural areas. This summit will also bring in the Venture Capitalists to directly look at potential social development enterprise projects which they can fund.

The D-Axis Summit 2010 has set itself a new strategic goal to facilitate India and especially the rural areas become the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world, capable of sustainable economic growth with more and better jobs and greater social cohesion through social enterprise model through a profit making approach rather than the conventional approach.

D-Axis is proposing Panel discussion on issues related to Climate Change and NRM, Health, Education, Agro and Agro Based and Livelihood and their linkages with Social Development Enterprise.

This is the first time you have an opportunity to interact directly with CSRs, International Donors, Venture Capitalists, Government Officials on issues related to your projects especially on development enterprises and funding opportunities. We are also organizing a proposal competition whereby one NGO will be short listed for their innovative project on Social Development Enterprise and their project will get resources to get started. For proposal submission - proposal@daxissummit.org.

We seek your confirmation to be a part of this initiative and be a participant for this Summit. You can kindly refer to our website www.daxissummit.org for registration and other details.

If you have any query please feel free to call and enquire.

We are waiting for your valuable and positive response.

Thanks & Regards
